We are so excited to be able to present our 2021 Cabaret and celebrate being back on stage with an audience again! Please see below important information regarding your dancer or singers involvement in the Cabaret performance.

WHAT IS IT? Our Cabaret performance features ADV’s celebration of musical theatre performances by our Private Singing Students, Star Performer Students, Musical Theatre students and our Dance students. The first half of the show is our musical theatre delight!. This year we are presenting excerpts from the Broadway musicals “School of Rock”, “Barnum” and “Grease” After the interval the second half of our performance features our Competition Troupes and Solo Competition Students presenting their 2021 items

CABARET PRODUCTION FEE & COSTUMES” In an effort to keep costs down for parents of students involved in Cabaret ADV will be using as many costumes as possible from our wardrobe department. A hire fee of $15 to $30 per costume will be charged to cover the organisation and also dry cleaning of costumes. Dance students will only have one costume unless they are involved in additional items. A $50 production fee applies to cover the cost of theatre rehearsals, teachers and staff for production, sets and props and theatre rehearsals.
TICKETS: Tickets will be available via trybooking in Term 2. Please note seating is allocated and theatre capacity will be based on the Covid Safe rules on Term 2. The audience can purchase beveridges (non alcoholic) and snacks from the bar in the foyer
WHAT NEXT ? It is assumed that all students in the listed classes will be available and present for the cabaret rehearsal and performance. If your dancer can NOT be involved in the Cabaret performance please ensure you email email@example.com before the end of Term 1 (1st April) so that we can plan accordingly for the choreography for their class & class mates. Students unable to be involved will still be fully included in their normal classes.
SINGING LESSONS: If you have an aspiring singer who would like to be involved in the show as a singing student as well as dancer, we have a limited number of singing lessons still available for Term 2. Please speak with Lisa or Ronnie reception if you would be interested in a spot.
